THROUGH ITS COLLECTIONS…

Citizen’s Energy sponsored the launch of the INDIANAPOLIS RECORDER NEWSPAPER COLLECTION, currently one of the library’s most visited online collections. The full-text searchable online archive provides access to Indianapolis’ African American local community news dating back to 1899.

Each summer the University Library hosts a juried exhibition of ARTISTS’ BOOKS at Harrison Center for the Arts in Indianapolis. The exhibit showcases the work of book artists from Indiana and beyond and gives the public the chance to view highlights from the museum-caliber collection of more than 500 Artists’ Books held by the Herron Art Library, a full-service branch of the University Library.

THROUGH SPECIAL PROJECTS…

In the fall of 2012, the library opened LEARNING SPACES III, a leading-edge environment for individual and group study. Led by RJE business interiors, the project was coordinated by Rowland Design, Maregatti Interiors, and CSO Architects, all national leaders in the design field.
