Where is Herron Art Library located?
Herron Art Library is inside the Herron School of Art and Design at Eskenazi Hall.

What are your hours?
The library is open Monday thru Thursday from 8am - 6pm and Friday from 8am - 5pm. Exceptions to these hours will be posted here:

How do I locate a book?

Book locations are listed in IUCAT by Call Numbers via the Internet. There is a link from University Library's homepage:

How do I use databases outside of the library?
The databases may be accessed through a remote login from the Herron Art Library website.

I'm having problems using databases from home.

Where can I make returns?
Book drops are located to the right of our door and outside the west doors (near the parking lot). You may also make returns to any library employee or at UL.

How do I print?
To print you must log into a print release station (one is located near each printer), and swipe your Jag Tag. If you are affiliated with IUPUI it will cost 4 cents a page to print. If you are not affiliated with IUPUI the cost is 7 cents a page. If you do not have a Jag Tag (or you don't have it with you) you can purchase a printer/copier card for $2.00 from the University Library Circulation Desk. The card costs one dollar and it has one dollar's worth of printing pre-loaded on the card.

Where is my print job?
Your print job will go into the print queue at one the Print Release Stations. Depending on which printer you choose your job will appear after you login and swipe your Jagtag.

Can I print without my Jag Tag?
No. You will need a print card from UL.

How do I put money on my Jagtag?

What is the name of the color printer?
The color printer is named RLAL-color.

Is there another color printer in the building?
Yes, in the computer lab located in HR 185.

How do I connect wirelessly from my laptop?

Do you have a public fax machine?
We do not supply public fax service. University Library offers users local and long distance faxing at the 4^th Floor Computer Consultant Desk.

Does the library have scanners?
We do not have any public scanners. The nearest scanner in the building is in the Computer Lab Room HR185.
University Library also has scanners on the 2^nd and 4^th floors.

Where are reserves books kept?
They are kept behind the Circulation Desk.

Where are the juvenile books located?
JUV, back of the library in the artist's books collection.

Where are the photography books located?
TR

Where are the videos kept?
VHS tapes are shelved with the books by Call Number. DVDs are located behind the Circulation Desk.

Do you have a paper cutter?
Yes, in the slide room.

How do you plug an external hard drive or flash drive into the Mac stations?
There are USB ports on the topside of the keyboard and on the right backside of the screen.

Where is tech support?
They are located in IT 129, or by calling 274-HELP(4357), or on the web at http://uits.iupui.edu/ .

Is there a pay phone?
No.

The library's Lost and Found is behind the Circulation Desk. You may also want to try Student Services in Room HR 126. For emergency lost and found such as car keys and wallets Campus Police should be contacted.

It is on the 2nd floor of University Library behind the Reference Desk in Room UL 2125.
