Borrowing Limits
The Access Services Team Leader may suspend the borrowing privileges of any patron if and when they reach any of the limits listed above or in the table below. This block will prevent that patron from checking out materials from any library in the Indiana University Library system.

University Staff | 25 Overdue Items | 1 Overdue Reserve, Overdue ILL Item or Unreturned Recall | $500 |
Undergraduate Students | 10 Overdue Items | 1 Overdue Reserve, Overdue ILL Item or Unreturned Recall | $250 |
Indiana Residents | 5 Overdue Items | 1 Unreturned Recall | $25 |
Blocking policy approved by IUPUI Library Affairs Committee 4/94
University Library also reserves the right to block the system-wide library privileges of any user if the address or email is no longer valid. Privileges may also be blocked or suspended for failure to abide by IUPUI University Library Policies.
