Big Shoes to Fill

Just before he retired in May of 2018, David Lewis, who was Dean of University Library for 25 years, was named Academic/Research Librarian of the Year by the Association of College and Research Libraries – one of the highest honors in the field of librarianship. Now the University Library is seeking a new Dean to serve as the inaugural Herbert Simon Family Dean of IUPUI University Library. Paul Moffett has been selected to receive the 2018 Indiana Library Federation (ILF) Outstanding Librarian Award. The ILF Outstanding Librarian Award honors and recognizes excellence and innovative leadership in the development of library service and for remarkable service to the profession.
