- MEDLINE (via Ovid) is the National Library of Medicine's premier source for bibliographic and abstract coverage of biomedical literature from more than 4,600 biomedical journals published in the United States and 70 other countries. You can also search a slightly less complete and less complex version of MEDLINE via EBSCOhost.
- Anatomy.tv gives detailed views of human anatomy at various anatomical levels, from bone to surface structure and every layer in between. Models may be rotated to view from all perspectives, and descriptive text is provided for each part displayed.
You may need to use other article databases for your research in Exercise Science/Fitness Studies. Use MetaSearch to search multiple article databases simultaneously. Note: MetaSearch may not always be appropriate for graduate/faculty level research since it lacks the ability to fine-tune searches or set up alerts.

JSSM is published quarterly in March, June, September and December.
- Nutrition Journal (freely available on the Internet) is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal that considers manuscripts within the field of human nutrition. Animal studies are not published.
