These resources support the curriculum and anthropology-related research. Anthropology is a multifaceted discipline. There is no single "anthropology section" of the library; information sources may be found throughout the collection and in various formats. Study and research in anthropology is sometimes interdisciplinary, so relevant information also may be found in sources that are not strictly anthropological. Some materials are available online. Some must be obtained through interlibrary loan. Anthropology-related reference resources provide useful information for academic work and research, and can identify and help locate additional sources. This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier is updated on a daily basis. This database is partially paid for by INSPIRE.
