Encyclopedia Britannica-(Britannica online) 
McGraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology (2007)-New. McGraw Hill's "flagship" technology reference title. Please see link within the Science subject collection at webpage: Gale Virtual Reference Library. The Encyclopedia "covers the latest developments" in topics in theoretical and applied science and technology, including cellular and molecular biology.

Oxford Reference Online-Updated. Large collection of high quality, up-to-date dictionaries; search by individual title, subject collection or comprehensively for entries cross-referenced by discipline. Includes terms, symbols, processes, and entry-level web links for subjects such as Biological Sciences, incl. biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics; Computing, incl. databases, networks, and multimedia; Physical Sciences & Mathematics, incl. statistics terms and distributions.
