With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly.
Academic Search Premier (EBSCO) - This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier is updated on a daily basis.
Applied Science and Technology Full Text - coverage includes trade and industrial publications, journals issued by professional and technical societies, and specialized subject periodicals, as well as special issues such as buyers' guides, directories, and conference proceedings. This database covers over 300 English-language titles in the applied sciences and engineering, including various aspects of mechanical engineering; electrical engineering and other related engineering fields.
Dissertations & Theses (ProQuest) - Doctoral dissertations and master´s theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline. The massive body of work available through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) represents the most comprehensive source of academic research in the world.
Ei Compendex (Engineering Index through Engineering Village 2) (1990-Present) - Mechanical, civil, environmental, electrical, structural, and process engineering, materials science, solid state physics, superconductivity, bioengineering, energy, chemical, optics, air and water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste road transportation, and transportation safety.
Medline, through Ovid (1967-Present) - "Produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), the MEDLINE database is widely recognized as the premier source for bibliographic and abstract coverage of biomedical literature. More than 10.8 million records from more than 3,900 journals are indexed, plus records formally indexed in Healthstar, Bioethicsline and Aidsline. Abstracts are included for about 51% of the records."
Web of Science - "The Science Citation Index Expanded is a multidisciplinary index, with searchable author abstracts, covering the journal literature of the sciences. It indexes more than 5,700 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines, covering approximately 2,100 more journals than its SCI print and CD-ROM counterparts, with all cited references captured."
