ABI Inform - ABI/INFORM Suite includes three distinct databases: ABI/INFORM Dateline - Local and regional coverage of company, industry and business news, excellent source of information about private and small public companies not typically found in the national business press. ABI/INFORM Global - Search 1000 premier worldwide business periodicals for information on business topics: advertising, marketing, economics, human resources, finance, taxation, management; also company and industry information. ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry - Contains more than 700 trade publications covering every major industry, including finance, insurance, transportation, construction, and health. Academic OneFile (Gale)- Academic OneFile is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world´s leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Academic Search Premier (EBSCO)- This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier is updated on a daily basis. Applied Science and Technology Full Text - coverage includes trade and industrial publications, journals issued by professional and technical societies, and specialized subject periodicals, as well as special issues such as buyers' guides, directories, and conference proceedings. This database covers over 300 English-language titles in the applied sciences and engineering, including various aspects of mechanical engineering; electrical engineering and other related engineering fields. Ei Compendex (Engineering Index through Engineering Village 2) (1990-Present) - Mechanical, civil, environmental, electrical, structural, and process engineering, materials science, solid state physics, superconductivity, bioengineering, energy, chemical, optics, air and water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste road transportation, and transportation safety. Dissertations & Theses (ProQuest) - Doctoral dissertations and master's theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline. The massive body of work available through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) represents the most comprehensive source of academic research in the world. GreenFILE (EBSCO) - GreenFILE indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. This resource offers a unique perspective on the positive and negative ways humans affect the environment. Drawing on the connection between the environment and disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology, GreenFILE serves as an informative resource for anyone concerned about the issues facing our planet. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well. IEEE Xplore Portal - IEEE Xplore is an online delivery system providing full text access to the world's highest quality technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics. RDS Business Reference Suite - Business Reference Suite, a Web-based subscription service, gives you balanced and highly focused full-text coverage of company and industry news, management practices, and market research information. By combining the complementary strengths of Business & Industry, Business & Management Practices and TableBase, Business Reference Suite delivers a comprehensive business research package. Thomas Register - This database includes over 156,000 American and Canadian companies, as well as 135,415 brand names. Products and companies are classified under product headings. Web of Science - "The Science Citation Index Expanded is a multidisciplinary index, with searchable author abstracts, coverng the journal literature of the sciences. It indexes more than 5,700 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines, covering approximately 2,100 more journals than its SCI print and CD-ROM counterparts, with all cited references captured."

IUPUI WorldCat - IUPUI WorldCat allows you to search Indiana University Libraries' holdings and worldwide holdings simultaneously. You can request items through Request Delivery and Interlibrary Loan in IUPUI WorldCat. Purdue Catalog -Purdue University's online catalog. E-Books Safari Books Online - The e-reference library for programmers and IT professionals. (Safari Tutorial) NetLibrary - This site provides access to your library's eBook collection. When you enter the site from an affiliated library, you will see the name of your library in the box on the right side of the screen. Once you have accessed your library's affiliated site, you are able to search and view the full text of all the eBooks in your library's eBook collection. Books24x7 - Books24x7.com contains hundreds of "best-of-breed" books from the world's top publishers such as MIT Press, Microsoft Press, Osborne/McGraw-Hill, Que, Sams, Sybex and Wiley. New books are constantly added. ebrary - Discover over 20,000 full-text books in multiple academic and general interest subject areas, sheet music titles and reports. E-Book "Meta" Search -- to simultaneously search University Library's ebook collections. Enter IUCAT. From the home search page, under More IUCAT Searches, select "E-book Search (Beta)". Gale Virtual Reference Library - Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. University Library´s collection currently contains: African-American Years: Chronologies of American History and Experience, 2003 Encyclopedia of Business and Finance, 2v, 2001 Encyclopedia of Sociology, 2nd ed., 5v, 2000 Environmental Encyclopedia, 3rd ed., 2v, 2003 Gale E-Commerce Sourcebook, 2v, 2003 International Encyclopedia of Marriage and Family, 2nd ed., 4v, 2003 New Catholic Encyclopedia, 2nd ed., 15v, 2003. Oxford Reference Online - Oxford Reference Online consists of a wealth of facts, figures, definitions, and translations found in dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press. Credo Reference (formerly Xreferplus) - Searches over 275 reference works from some 57 publishers.

ABC - Associated Builders and Contractors is a national trade organization devoted to the merit shop philosophy. AGC - Associated General Contractors of America's general contractor membership is represented by four occupational divisions. Members can choose to be affiliated with one or more of the following divisions: Building; Highway; Heavy-Industrial; and Municipal Utilities. ASC - The Associated Schools of Construction promotes the development and advancement of construction education. There are approximately 100 universities and colleges who provide construction education programs. ASCE - The American Society of Civil Engineers' site gives information about the Society, its membership, departments, and services. The site also includes information about ASCE publications, including the full text of some journals and job listings. NECA - National Electrical Contractors Association works for the betterment of its members, electrical contractors in general and the construction industry as a whole. NECA services are designed for contractors who are involved in Standard Industrial Code 1731 (electrical work - specialty contractors) and some of those involved in SIC 1623 (utility work, also referred to as "outside" or "line" work). Ultimate Civil Engineering Directory - This massive directory includes CE institutions, organizations, suppliers, events, and other related sitse from around the world.

Building and Fire Research Laboratory - BFRL is a national laboratory dedicated to enhancing the competitiveness of industry and public safety performance prediction methods, measurement technologies and technical advances needed to assure the life cycle quality and economy of constructed facilities. This site provides information about the laboratory and its research projects. CERL - Construction Engineering Research Laboratory conducts research and development in infrastructure and environment sustainment. Research is directed toward increasing the Army's ability to more efficiently construct, operate, and maintain its installations and ensure environmental quality and safety at a reduced life-cycle cost. Construction WebLinks - This site is an easy-to-use and comprehensive guide to the Internet for architects, engineers, and contractors. Links are organized into categories of interest to construction industry professionals, such as: job opportunities, better ways to perform projects, specifications and technical information, product information, building codes, and science and technology. Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Network - This site provides links to energy efficiency information from the government, educational, commercial and organizational sources. Women in Engineering Proactive Network - an online knowledge center with over 600 information resources dedicated to the advancement of women in engineering, technology, science, and math.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) Government Resources Advanced Fuels Properties Database From the Energy Department's Office of Transportation Technology, this database offers technical data on chemical, physical, and environmental properties of advanced petroleum-based fuels. Biomass Document Database - This database indexes research produced through the Biofuels Technology Program since 1980, as well as more recent documents dealing with the entire Biomass Program. Public domain items are available in PDF format; however, copyrighted material is given by citation only. DOE Information Bridge - This database holds full-text reports generated by U.S. Department of Energy-sponsored research. Energy Information Administration - From the U.S. Department of Energy, this database contains statistical and narrative information on energy production and consumption in the U.S. and internationally. Fossil Energy Technical Reports Database - The U.S. Department of Energy's "Fossil Energy" site includes a database of technical reports on fossil fuels and links to statistics and analysis of policy issues and regulatory information. National Renewable Energy Laboratory Publications - From the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, this database includes technical reports, journal articles, conference papers, patents, presentations, books, fact sheets and brochures written by National Renewable Energy Laboratory staff and subcontractors. Many of the publications are available as full-text PDFs. Science Accelerator - From the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Scientific and Technical Information, this database includes several sub-databases of DOE reports, including conference proceedings, summaries, energy citations, and more. Not all of the publications are available for free, but the citations are useful for finding the publications at our library and through interlibrary loan. TranStats: the Intermodal Transportation Database - From the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, this database searches several differnet databases of transportation statistics. Users can search by subject, agency, or transportation mode. WorldWideScience - a global science portal from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science & Technical Information that enables users to search both national and international databases in one search.
