Academic OneFile (Gale)- Academic OneFile is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world´s leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Academic Search Premier (EBSCO)- This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier is updated on a daily basis. ACM Portal (ACM Digital Library and Guide to Computing Literature) - The Digital Library site provides current access to the ACM journals, magazines, proceedings and newsletters. This page allows searches of all ACM materials, including technology applications (see the "Magazines" browse and search) as well as scholarly/advanced materials. Applied Science and Technology Full Text (Wilson) - coverage includes trade and industrial publications, journals issued by professional and technical societies, and specialized subject periodicals, as well as special issues such as buyers' guides, directories, and conference proceedings. This database covers over 300 English-language titles in the applied sciences and engineering, including various aspects of mechanical engineering; electrical engineering and other related engineering fields. CINAHL Plus with Full Text (Ebsco) - CINAHL is the authoritative resource for nursing and allied health professionals, students, educators and researchers. This version offers basic keyword searching, multi-term keyword searching, visual searching, citation searching, and index term browsing. Dissertations & Theses (ProQuest) - Doctoral dissertations and master´s theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline. The massive body of work available through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) represents the most comprehensive source of academic research in the world. DOE Information Bridge - provides free public access to full-text documents and bibliographic citations of Department of Energy research reports from January 1996 - present. DTIC Technical Reports - Defense Technical Information Center provides access to scientific and technical information. Emerald Insight Full Text - A powerful business research tool that provides critical information when it is most needed. Users have instant access to over 35,000 full text articles from Emerald's international management portfolio, complete with full text archives back to 1994. Subject coverage spans a spectrum of management disciplines including: strategy; leadership; library and information management; marketing and human resource management; plus a substantial number of engineering, applied science and technology titles. Ei Compendex (Engineering Index through Engineering Village 2) (1990-Present) - Mechanical, civil, environmental, electrical, structural, and process engineering, materials science, solid state physics, superconductivity, bioengineering, energy, chemical, optics, air and water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste road transportation, and transportation safety. IEEE Xplore Portal - IEEE Xplore is an online delivery system providing full text access to the world's highest quality technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics. IEEE Computer Society Digital Library - The IEEE Computer Society Digital Library provides online access to 22 society magazines and transactions, and more than 1,700 selected conference proceedings. IET Journals page - The IET Research Journals (formerly IEE Proceedings) contain both original and review papers relating to all disciplines in electrical, electronics, computing, control, biomedical and communications technologies. Institute of Physics (IOP) - Search electronic journals from the Institute of Physics. The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) database (free access) - a product of the International Atomic Energy Agency which promotes the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Includes a unique collection of over 850,000 full-text documents including scientific and technical reports, conference proceedings, patents, theses, and preprints. Military & Government Collection (EBSCO)- Designed to offer current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government, this database offers a thorough collection of periodicals, academic journals, and other content pertinent to the increasing needs of those sites. The Military & Government Collection provides cover-to-cover full text for nearly 300 journals and periodicals and indexing and abstracts for nearly 400 titles. IEEE Xplore - Search or browse the complete IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL) of IEEE and IET journals, transactions, society publications, magazines, and conference papers. AbstractPlus records and full text is provided for content published since 1988, and for select content published since 1913. IEEE Computer Society Digital Library - Provides full online content (current, plus complete archive) for the society's magazines, transactions, and extensive conference proceedings. IET Journals page - Describes the IET journals, which can be accessed via IEEE Xplore. Web of Science (ISI) - The ISI Web of Science provides seamless access to the Science Citation Expanded®, Social Sciences Citation Index®, and Arts & Humanities Citation Indexâ„¢. It enables users to search current and r etrospective multidisciplinary information from approximately 8,500 of the most prestigious, high impact research journals in the world. ISI Web of Science also provides a unique search method, cited reference searching. With it, users can navigate forward, backward, and through the literature, searching all disciplines and time spans to uncover all the information relevant to their research. Users can also navigate to electronic full-text journal articles.

E-Books Safari Books Online - The e-reference library for programmers and IT professionals. (Safari Tutorial) NetLibrary - This site provides access to your library's eBook collection. When you enter the site from an affiliated library, you will see the name of your library in the box on the right side of the screen. Once you have accessed your library's affiliated site, you are able to search and view the full text of all the eBooks in your library's eBook collection. Books24x7 - Books24x7.com contains hundreds of "best-of-breed" books from the world's top publishers such as MIT Press, Microsoft Press, Osborne/McGraw-Hill, Que, Sams, Sybex and Wiley. New books are constantly added. ebrary - Discover over 20,000 full-text books in multiple academic and general interest subject areas, sheet music titles and reports. E-Book "Meta" Search -- to simultaneously search University Library's ebook collections. Enter IUCAT. From the home search page, under More IUCAT Searches, select "E-book Search (Beta)". Gale Virtual Reference Library - Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. University Library´s collection currently contains: African-American Years: Chronologies of American History and Experience, 2003 Encyclopedia of Business and Finance, 2v, 2001 Encyclopedia of Sociology, 2nd ed., 5v, 2000 Environmental Encyclopedia, 3rd ed., 2v, 2003 Gale E-Commerce Sourcebook, 2v, 2003 International Encyclopedia of Marriage and Family, 2nd ed., 4v, 2003 New Catholic Encyclopedia, 2nd ed., 15v, 2003. Oxford Reference Online - Oxford Reference Online consists of a wealth of facts, figures, definitions, and translations found in dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press. Credo Reference (formerly Xreferplus) - Searches over 275 reference works from some 57 publishers.

IEE - The homepage for the Institute for Electrical Engineering Engineers promotes the advancement of electrical, electronic and manufacturing science and engineering. Based in the United Kingdom, the organization's mission is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas pertaining to these different sciences of engineering. IEEE - The homepage for Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers promotes the engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing, and applying knowledge about electro- and information technologies and sciences for the benefit of the profession and humanity. SPIE - The homepage for the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers, a professional society that seeks to advance research, engineering and applications in optics, photonics, imaging and electronics. The agency manages and directs basic and applied research and development projects and pursues research and technology where risk and payoff are both very high. DOE Pulse Newsletter - This newsletter highlights work being done at the Department of Energy's national laboratories and is distributed twice each month. Datasheet Locator - This free electronic engineering tool allows users to locate product datasheets from hundreds of electronic component manufacturers worldwide. Electronics and Electrical Engineering Laboratory - This government resource provides the fundamental basis for all electrical measurements in the United States. Measurements include semiconductor, magnetic, radio frequency, microwave, optical, optoelectronic, and superconducting equipment; flat-panel displays; electronic instrumentation; and electrical power apparatus and systems. FCC - With a jurisdiction covering the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions, the Federal Communications Commission regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable. National Institute of Standards and Technology - This government resource works with industry to "foster innovation, trade, security, and jobs."
