American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) - a nonprofit organization of individuals and institutions committed to furthering education in engineering and engineering technology.

Tau Beta Pi - the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession.

IEEE - the homepage for Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers promotes the engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing, and applying knowledge about electro- and information technologies and sciences for the benefit of the profession and humanity.

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) - the ASCE represents more than 146,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide and is America's oldest national engineering society.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) - provides information on programs and activities in mechanical engineering, along with information on conferences and expositions.  Also included on the site are mechanical engineering history and preservation projects and details of publications, codes, and standards.

Institute of Industrial Engineers - an international, nonprofit association that provides leadership for the application, education, training, research, and development of industrial engineering.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) - aims for advancement of scientific knowledge in the field of manufacturing.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) - an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences, and applications of information technology.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) - a nonprofit association dedicated to the academic and professional success of African-American engineering and technical students and professionals.

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) - a useful resource for technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) - a nonprofit educational and service organize that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders.
