ABI Inform - ABI/INFORM Suite includes three distinct databases: ABI/INFORM Dateline - Local and regional coverage of company, industry and business news, excellent source of information about private and small public companies not typically found in the national business press. ABI/INFORM Global - Search 1000 premier worldwide business periodicals for information on business topics: advertising, marketing, economics, human resources, finance, taxation, management; also company and industry information. ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry - Contains more than 700 trade publications covering every major industry, including finance, insurance, transportation, construction, and health. Academic OneFile (Gale)- Academic OneFile is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world´s leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Academic Search Premier (EBSCO)- This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier is updated on a daily basis. Annual Reviews - IUPUI has access to current content for select Annual Review titles on topics such as the Annual Review of Materials Research as well as the entire Annual Review Archive (1932 - Current Year Minus Five). Applied Science and Technology Full Text - Indexes articles, product evaluations, and book reviews in over 390 leading English-language periodicals published in the U.S. and elsewhere. The database includes trade and industrial publications, journals of professional and learned societies, and specialized subject periodicals. CINAHL Plus with Full Text - CINAHL is the authoritative resource for nursing and allied health professionals, students, educators and researchers. This version offers basic keyword searching, multi-term keyword searching, visual searching, citation searching, and index term browsing. Dissertations & Theses (ProQuest) - Doctoral dissertations and master´s theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline. The massive body of work available through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) represents the most comprehensive source of academic research in the world. Ei Compendex (Engineering Index through Engineering Village 2) (1990-Present) - Mechanical, civil, environmental, electrical, structural, and process engineering, materials science, solid state physics, superconductivity, bioengineering, energy, chemical, optics, air and water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste road transportation, and transportation safety.
Emerald Insight Full Text - A powerful business research tool that provides critical information when it is most needed. Users have instant access to over 35,000 full text articles from Emerald's international management portfolio, complete with full text archives back to 1994. Subject coverage spans a spectrum of management disciplines including: strategy; leadership; library and information management; marketing and human resource management; plus a substantial number of engineering, applied science and technology titles.
Energy Citations Database - provides free access to over 2.3 million science research citations with continued growth through regular updates. There are over 197,000 electronic documents, primarily from 1943 forward, available via the database. Citations and documents are made publicly available by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Energy Citations Database includes scientific and technical research results in disciplines of interest to DOE such as chemistry, physics, materials, environmental science, geology, engineering, mathematics, climatology, oceanography, computer science and related disciplines. It includes bibliographic citations to report literature, conference papers, journal articles, books, dissertations, and patents.
General Science Abstracts - Indexing and abstracting of material of at least one column in length in key popular science magazines and professional journals, including The New York Times Science Times section; useful for both the nonspecialist and the expert. Wilson General Science Abstracts provides easy access to a broad range of scientific and related disciplines. The database supplies comprehensive abstracting and indexing over 190 popular and professional science journals published in the United States and Great Britain.
GreenFILE (EBSCO) - GreenFILE indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. This resource offers a unique perspective on the positive and negative ways humans affect the environment. Drawing on the connection between the environment and disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology, GreenFILE serves as an informative resource for anyone concerned about the issues facing our planet. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well. IEEE Xplore Portal - IEEE Xplore is an online delivery system providing full text access to the world's highest quality technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics. IET Journals page - Describes the IET journals, which can be accessed via IEEE Xplore.
The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) database (free access) - a product of the International Atomic Energy Agency which promotes the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Includes a unique collection of over 850,000 full-text documents including scientific and technical reports, conference proceedings, patents, theses, and preprints.
RDS Business Reference Suite - Business Reference Suite, a Web-based subscription service, gives you balanced and highly focused full-text coverage of company and industry news, management practices, and market research information. By combining the complementary strengths of Business & Industry, Business & Management Practices and TableBase, Business Reference Suite delivers a comprehensive business research package.
SciFinder Scholar (Chemical Abstracts) - SciFinder Scholar provides the students, faculty, and staff of IUPUI and all campuses of Indiana University access to the following Chemical Abstracts files for their university-related work: CA Plus, CASReact, and Registry.

E-Books Safari Books Online - The e-reference library for programmers and IT professionals. (Safari Tutorial) NetLibrary - This site provides access to your library's eBook collection. When you enter the site from an affiliated library, you will see the name of your library in the box on the right side of the screen. Once you have accessed your library's affiliated site, you are able to search and view the full text of all the eBooks in your library's eBook collection. Books24x7 - Books24x7.com contains hundreds of "best-of-breed" books from the world's top publishers such as MIT Press, Microsoft Press, Osborne/McGraw-Hill, Que, Sams, Sybex and Wiley. New books are constantly added. ebrary - Discover over 20,000 full-text books in multiple academic and general interest subject areas, sheet music titles and reports. Gale Virtual Reference Library - Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. University Library´s collection currently contains: African-American Years: Chronologies of American History and Experience, 2003 Encyclopedia of Business and Finance, 2v, 2001 Encyclopedia of Sociology, 2nd ed., 5v, 2000 Environmental Encyclopedia, 3rd ed., 2v, 2003 Gale E-Commerce Sourcebook, 2v, 2003 International Encyclopedia of Marriage and Family, 2nd ed., 4v, 2003 New Catholic Encyclopedia, 2nd ed., 15v, 2003. Oxford Reference Online - Oxford Reference Online consists of a wealth of facts, figures, definitions, and translations found in dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press. Credo Reference (formerly Xreferplus) - Searches over 275 reference works from some 57 publishers.

ASHRAE - The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers is an international organization with 50,000 members. The organization's purpose is the advancing of the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration for the public's benefit. ASME - The American Society of Mechnical Engineers site provides information on programs and activities in mechanical engineering, along with information on conferences and expositions. Also included on the site are mechanical engineering history and preservation projects and details of publications, codes, and standards. ASME Gas Turbine Papers Archive and Index - The International Gas Turbine Institute of ASME maintains an archive of gas turbine papers published by ASME from 1947 to present. IMechE - The Installation of Mechanical Engineers members work in research, design, development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, contracting, consulting, and teaching. Based in the U.K., the site includes links to the various divisions and departments. SAE - The Society of Automotive Engineers is a useful resource for technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space. SEM - The Society for Experimental Mechanics seeks to further the knowledge of stress and strain analysis and related technologies. This site gives information about the society, its activities, and publications. A search facility is available for abstracts of papers loaded on the server. SME - The Society of Manufacturing Engineers aims for advancement of scientific knowledge in the field of manufacturing. SAMPE (Society for the Advancement of Material & Process Engineering) - SAMPE provides information on new materials and processing technology either via technical forums, journal publications, or books in which professionals in this field can exchange ideas and air their views.

Design Engineering Online - Published by Centaur Publishing, this site helps design engineers working in mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering industries by providing the information they might need in one place. Key features of the site include a searchable archive of past issues, a virtual exhibition site, a product finder facility, a discussion forum, and links to sites of related interest. DOE Information Bridge - The Department of Energy provides reports issued from January 1996 to present. DTIC Technical Reports - Defense Technical Information Center provides access to scientific and technical information. JPL Robotics - Jet Propulsion Laboratory Robotics researchers perform development, integration, and demonstration of innovative robotics and automation technologies, supporting NASA missions and addressing other problems of national importance. Researchers work toward enabling more efficient, lower cost missions dedicated to planetary surface and solar system exploration, Earth observations from space, astrophysical experiments in space and on the Moon, and the extension of human capabilities in space. Key to Metals - This site features a knowledge base of carefully selected engineering, industry and scientific articles that save your time whenever you need a quick reference from the theory and practice of nonferrous metals technology and application. Several articles are available for free. Key to Steel - This site is a global database of steel materials and has a powerful search engine and presentation facilities. It provides information relevant for identifying, selecting, processing and using steel materials from the whole world. Several articles are available for free. Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory - The Manufacturing Engineering Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology serves as a central research laboratory for manufacturing infrastructure technology, measurements, and standards. They provide industry-needed manufacturing engineering tools, interface standards, manufacturing systems architectures and traceability. Women in Engineering Proactive Network - an online knowledge center with over 600 information resources dedicated to the advancement of women in engineering, technology, science, and math.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) database (free access) - a product of the International Atomic Energy Agency which promotes the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Includes a unique collection of over 850,000 full-text documents including scientific and technical reports, conference proceedings, patents, theses, and preprints. Government Resources Advanced Fuels Properties Database From the Energy Department's Office of Transportation Technology, this database offers technical data on chemical, physical, and environmental properties of advanced petroleum-based fuels. Biomass Document Database - This database indexes research produced through the Biofuels Technology Program since 1980, as well as more recent documents dealing with the entire Biomass Program. Public domain items are available in PDF format; however, copyrighted material is given by citation only. DOE Information Bridge - This database holds full-text reports generated by U.S. Department of Energy-sponsored research. Energy Information Administration - From the U.S. Department of Energy, this database contains statistical and narrative information on energy production and consumption in the U.S. and internationally. Fossil Energy Technical Reports Database - The U.S. Department of Energy's "Fossil Energy" site includes a database of technical reports on fossil fuels and links to statistics and analysis of policy issues and regulatory information. NASA Image eXchange (NIX) - This database contains more than 450,000 images of NASA activities and space objects. There are also links to millions of images elsewhere on the web. National Renewable Energy Laboratory Publications - From the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, this database includes technical reports, journal articles, conference papers, patents, presentations, books, fact sheets and brochures written by National Renewable Energy Laboratory staff and subcontractors. Many of the publications are available as full-text PDFs. Science Accelerator - From the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Scientific and Technical Information, this database includes several sub-databases of DOE reports, including conference proceedings, summaries, energy citations, and more. Not all of the publications are available for free, but the citations are useful for finding the publications at our library and through interlibrary loan. WorldWideScience - a global science portal from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Science & Technical Information that enables users to search both national and international databases in one search.
