EnviroInfo is a compilation of useful Internet resources in Environmental Science and Technology. This site maintains information on organizations, business, publications, online databases and software, research and education. The following environmental fields are considered: air pollution, biotechnology, chemistry, ecology, impact and risk assessment, laws, pollution, sustainable development, soil & wetlands, water & wastewater.
EnviroLink Resources
The EnviroLink Network is a non-profit organization which has been providing access to thousands of online environmental resources since 1991. Their website contains a wide variety of materials on a broad range of environmental topics.
Environmental Education Association of Indiana (EEAI)
The Environmental Education Association of Indiana seeks to create an environmentally literate citizenry of lifelong learners who are good stewards of Indiana’s natural resources. They are committed to promoting environmental education, and are not issue driven. The EEAI works cooperatively to promote opportunities that will educate, motivate, and inspire citizens of Indiana to conserve natural resources and meet the needs of our society while maintaining a healthy environment now and in the future.
EE-Link: North American Association for Environmental Education
EE link contains vast collection of informational and educational resources, useful for educators and for the curious. There is both general information and specific sub-topics like air, water, endangered species and many others. EE-link also contains information about jobs in the Environmental Sciences and a number of links to other resources.
EarthTrends Environmental Information
EarthTrends is “an online collection of information regarding the environmental, social, and economic trends that shape our world. Committed to the principle that accurate information drives responsible decisions by governments and individuals, EarthTrends offers the public a large breadth of statistical, graphic, and analytical data in easily accessible formats.” It is a well-designed website, maintained by the World Resources Institute, containing a great number of useful materials.
