Searchable databases on FDIC deposits, banks, closings, loans and investments.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
Databases on unemployment, workforce, consumer prices, labor unions, and salaries.

County Business Patterns
Provides county, state, and national level business data for 1977-1995. Statistics include number of establishments, payroll (annual and 1st quarter), number of employees, and number of establishments by size class for 2 digit SIC industry groupings.

Credit Union Data
Reports on credit unions nationwide, plus reference information on laws, rulings and other items of interest to credit unions and their members.

Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations
Database of prevailing wage rates to be paid on federally funded or assisted construction projects.

Decisions and Orders of the National Labor Relations Board

Economic Census
"The Economic Census provides a detailed portrait of the Nation's economy once every five years, from the national to the local level. EDGAR Database
EDGAR, the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system, performs automated collection, validation, indexing, acceptance, and forwarding of submissions by companies and others who are required by law to file forms with the SEC.

The North American Industry Classification System is replacing the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system. It was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business activity across North America.

National Information Center (NIC)
The NIC provides comprehensive information on banks and other institutions for which the Federal Reserve has a supervisory, regulatory, or research interest including both domestic and foreign banking organizations operating in the U.S.

National Trade Data Bank (NTDB)
Provides access to Country Commercial Guides, Market Research reports, Best Market reports. Also provides U.S. import and export statistics, as well as over 75 other various reports and programs.

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)
NAICS is replacing the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system. It was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business activity across North America.

Occupational Outlook Handbook
This source of career information describes working conditions, salaries, education requirements and job outlook.

O*NET (Occupational Information Network)
Contains information on job requirements and worker competencies. NOTE: Replaces the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.

OSHA Enforcement Inspections
Searchable database of federal and state OSHA inspection reports. Allows searching by SIC, by establishment, or by specified inspection.

Standard Industrial Classification Manual
Search the 1987 version SIC manual by keyword, to access descriptive information for a specified 4-digit SIC code. NOTE: The SIC is being replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).

Tariff and Trade DataWeb
Access the ITC Trade DataWeb, 1999 and 2000 Tariff Databases, and Summary U.S. Trade by Region.

Transborder Surface Freight Data
"Provides North American merchandise trade data by commodity type, by surface mode of transportation (rail, truck, pipeline, mail and other), and with geographic detail for U.S. exports to and imports from Canada and Mexico. These data, available since April 1993, are a subset of official U.S. international merchandise trade data."

ZIP Code Business Patterns
Provides data on total number of establishments and number of establishments by employment-size classes by detailed industry.
