Encyclopedia Britannica Online-Combines scholarly content with thousands of video clips, images, and animations.

Gale Virtual Reference Library-Large collection of dictionaries and encyclopedias. Search by individual title, across the collection (Basic Search), or by subject (Advanced Search: limit results by subject area). Subject collections include Arts (e.g. filmakers and the Schirmer Encyclopedia of Film); Business (e.g. e-commerce); Education (e.g. applications of information and communication technology); General Reference (e.g. acronyms and abbreviations); Law (e.g. survey of state laws); Science; Social Science (e.g. bioethics resources and The Healthcare System; and Technology. 

McGraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology (2007)-McGraw Hill's "flagship" technology reference title.
