Hints to find ebooks, enter IUCAT. From the home search page, under More IUCAT Searches, select "E-book Search (Beta)".

Start with a simple Keywords Anywhere search. You can combine two concepts by using AND (e.g. algebra AND learn$). The truncation symbol $ will provide a search for all words beginning with a "root" such as learn. The Title search algebra AND outline will provide hits which include ebooks from the series "Schaum's Outline of...".  If you do multiple ebook searches, use the IUCAT "Go Back" tab when starting new searches to avoid being "bumped out" of the ebook search.

Examples of ebooks

Math Education
Journal for Research in Mathematics Education book series published by NCTM. Can keyword search comprehensively, or browse browse volumes by topic from 1985 - Up to 5 years from Present.
Lessons Learned: What International Assessments Tell Us About Math Achievement (Brookings Inst. Press 2007)
Lingo of Learning: 88 Education Terms Every Science Teacher Should Know (NSTA Press 2003)
Algebra and Prealgebra
Arithmetic and Algebra-- Again: Leave Math Anxiety Behind Forever (McGraw Hill 2005)
Bob Miller's Basic Math and Prealgebra (McGraw Hill 2007)
Pre-algebra Demystified: A Self-teaching Guide (McGraw Hill 2004)
Calculus

Hints to find ebooks about calculus. Starting with IUCAT's search "E-book Search (Beta)", try the simple Title search: calculus. To obtain hits for ebooks from the series "Schaum's Outline of...", try the Title search calculus AND outline.

Calculus Demystified (McGraw Hill 2003)
