Dance Kaleidoscope is Indiana's premier contemporary dance company consistently brings the finest quality dance performances to diverse audiences of all ages, mixed with a strong emphasis on arts education. The professional ensemble features talented individual artists who bring their multi-faceted skills together to form an ensemble dedicated to giving world-class performances of contemporary dance. Dance Resources from Utah Valley State College; includes links to professional associations, online dictionaries, and dance collections at other institutions. Dance/USA's purpose is to advance the art form of dance. As the national service organization for professional dance, Dance/USA works with its membership of professional dance companies, artists, presenters, service organizations, individuals and other organizations supportive of the field to achieve its mission. Moving Company at IUPUI is a non-profit organization that was first formed in 1986 by then student Margot Faught. It has continued its growth under the direction of Mary Maitland Kimball and entered the new millennium with Paige Prill Craigie. Its primary purpose is to present opportunities to IUPUI students with opportunities to learn and perform a variety of styles. National Dance Association (NDA) leads in promoting and supporting creative, artistic and healthy lifestyles through quality services and programs in dance and dance education. Interest areas include Dance Medicine & Science and Dance Performance. ProDVIDA is a professional teacher organization that is open to all professional dance teachers and competitors. ProDVIDA encourages and welcomes active participation from its members in developing dance standards, promoting business innovations, and celebrating the art of dance. |
