Annual Reviews. New. Authoritative resource annually synthesizing "...the vast amount of primary research literature and identifying the principal contributions..." on an annual basis for a variety of scientific disciplines. IUPUI provides extensive current and historical access for physical and materials science (Bioengineering, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Research, Physical Chemistry, Environment and Resources) and the life, health, and medical sciences (Biochemistry, Biophysics, Genomics and Human Genetics, etc.). Searches can be done by title, across the collection or by subject series such as Physical Sciences or Biomedical/Life Sciences. To customize your search, from the Search interface, choose Publications pull-down menu: Return reviews published in.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online-Combines scholarly content with thousands of video clips, images, and animations.

McGraw Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology (2007) New. McGraw Hill's "flagship" science and technology reference title. Please access the link listed under the Science subject collection at webpage: Gale Virtual Reference Library.  The Encyclopedia "covers the latest developments" for topics in theoretical and applied science and technology. Article contributors include 36 Nobel Prize winners addressing topics in physics, chemistry, and applications of physics to medicine.

Oxford Reference Online. Large collection of high quality, up-to-date dictionaries; search by individual title, subject collection or comprehensively for entries cross-referenced by discipline. Includes terms, symbols, and processes for subjects such as Biological Sciences, incl. biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics; Physical Sciences & Mathematics, incl. terms related to applied physics, biophysics, imaging, and materials science, plus new in-depth content on magnetic resonance imaging, low-temperature physics, nanophysics, and quantum entanglement.
