THOMAS
From the Library of Congress—“in the spirit of Thomas Jefferson”—this is a site created by Congress to make government information freely available and easily accessible to the public. THOMAS is particularly helpful at finding legislative information. It includes access to the text of bills and resolutions, activity in Congress, Presidential nominations, treaties, committee information, instructional materials, and much more.
C-SPAN Issues and Legislation
C-SPAN offers its usual high level of non-partisan information on current legislation and key votes, and offers a good basic guide to the Congress, its procedures, and contact information for legislators and their staffs.
Full-text State Statutes and Legislation on the Internet
This page seeks to link to sites containing full-text state constitutions, statutes (called codes or compiled laws in some states), legislation (bills, amendments, etc.), session laws (bills that have become laws), and administrative rules.

This database contains information gleaned from the home pages and websites of the fifty state legislatures, the District of Columbia and the Territories.
