Honor with Books
Imagine a student, sometime in the future, searching for a book in the catalog at The IUPUI University Library and finding in the record an electronic bookplate inscribed from you to honor your child’s graduation, to thank a respected professor, or to memorialize a special friend who loved to read.
Your unique tribute through the Honor with Books program will provide enduring resources for years to come, and your generosity will be a symbol of relationships you cherish.
With a $50 donation you can pay tribute to someone important in your life with an electronic bookplate in the catalog entry of a book from the field of study of your choice.

Subject Liaisons
What is a subject liaison?
Subject liaisons are librarians designated by the library to serve specific schools, departments, and programs and to support the teaching, learning, and research needs of faculty and students in these units. The extent of each liaison's activity will be affected by the nature of the discipline; departments, schools, and programs are not all alike and will not require the same degree of liaison activity.
What do subject liaisons seek to do?
- Facilitate faculty and student research and the dissemination of its results
- Engage with information literacy instruction and assessment
- Develop collections that support the curriculum
- Build effective working relationships with faculty and students
