Finding Articles GeoRef (CSA) GeoRef is a comprehensive database in the geosciences and grows by more than 70,000 references a year. The database includes references to all publications of the U.S. Geological Survey, and US Canadian theses in the geosciences. GeoRef in Progress (CSA) The GeoRef In Process database contains records that are, literally, in the process of being indexed prior to their integration in the main GeoRef database. The majority of the records originate from non-English language literature that was not necessarily published recently. Academic Search Premier (EBSCO) This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier is updated on a daily basis. Finding Books & Media IUCAT: Library Catalog IUCAT contains records for more than 5 million items held by the Indiana University Libraries statewide. For help using IUCAT, view the follwing tutorials: IUCAT: Author Search, IUCAT: Journal Search, IUCAT: Keyword Search . WorldCat (OCLC) OCLC WorldCat database is the OCLC online catalog. It contains over 43 million records describing library holdings. ebrary Discover over 20,000 full-text books in multiple academic and general interest subject areas, sheet music titles and reports. netLibrary This site provides access to your library's eBook collection. When you enter the site from an affiliated library, you will see the name of your library in the box on the right side of the screen. Once you have accessed your library's affiliated site, you are able to search and view the full text of all the eBooks in your library's eBook collection. Geography

GIS, which stands for Geographic Information System, is a way of presenting data spatially with maps and charts so that it can be better understood and analyzed. There are literally thousands of uses for GIS data, including analyzing traffic patterns, displaying changes in population over time, developing zoning boundaries, planning delivery routes, and so on.
