I serve as librarian for the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, which includes buying books and databases for the Payton Philanthropic Studies Library. I also work as the digital archivist for the Philanthropy Archives in the Ruth Lilly Special Collections and Archives, which means I crawl the web and save old files from rotting on floppy disks! I am also an instructor for archives interns for the School of Informatics Department of Library and Information Science. I am very active in the Society of Indiana Archivists, currently serving as treasurer.
My research interests include post-colonial archives, archival instruction, equity in access to archives, and digital preservation. My favorite part of my job is when I can help someone use archives for the very first time!
