The Library's Strategic Priority for Technology: The library employs current technologies in innovative ways and adopts new technologies that both complement our strategic priorities and enhance the work of library users. 

In 2020, the Library launched the 3D/VR Initiative, a special initiative to provide access to and support 3D scanning, modeling, and VR tools to IUPUI faculty, staff, and students to transform their teaching, research, and learning. This initiative also continues to support  Indianapolis community and cultural heritage institutions as they endeavor to preserve and provide access to their historical record.
