University Library is not responsible for the security of personal items brought into the Library and patrons are expected to keep their belongings, especially valuables within their sight at all times. We cannot guarantee the item you lost will be found, or that it will be kept indefinitely if found. All lost and found items will be handled by Library Security staff. We will log all items and store them in a locked cabinet at the Service and Information Desk.
Wallets, purses, passports, cash, checks, credit cards and valuable electronics will be turned over to Campus police within one day, and they will take them to the campus police head quarters. You can call (317) 274-0472 to see if any lost items were turned in to our lost and found.
Exceptions
- All items that may be a health, safety or security concern will be discarded immediately.
- JagTags and other campus ID’s will be forwarded to Campus Card Services CE 217 after one week.
