During the COVID-19 pandemic, HathiTrust made e-books that correspond to physical books held by IU Libraries available to our users through their Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS). This has been a valuable resource while University Library was closed and while many users have been unable to be on campus. In anticipation of a return to regular operations in the fall, access to HathiTrust e-books via ETAS will end on August 10, 2021. This applies strictly to the in-copyright content made available through ETAS; access to public domain content will continue as part of Indiana University’s HathiTrust membership.
