University Library will adhere to the following policies in regard to closing due to emergency weather conditions:
- If the campus is closed, the library will be closed to the public.
- If classes are cancelled, but the campus remains open, the library will close to the public. In some circumstances the closing will take place after classes are cancelled to accommodate those using the library. The decision on what time to close the library to the public will be made by the dean or her designee.
In the event of adverse weather, check the campus emergency preparedness website or call their office, (317) 278-1600, for information about cancellation of classes and/or closing of the campus. Media outlets may contain this information, but there is no guarantee that they will be accurate.
