Billy joins us from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where he served as a Research and Instruction Librarian for Entrepreneurship. Billy is the founder and Editor of the Journal of Anime and Manga Studies (JAMS), the only open-access journal dedicated to the study of anime, manga, cosplay, and their fandoms. Billy is a lifelong member of the Popular Culture Association, and has presented his research at their national conference every year since 2016. Billy’s favorite service activities include outreach and supporting student health and wellness, and his research interests include LGBTQ+ studies, popular culture, vampire studies, and anime and manga studies. He is SO excited to work with you all!
